In November 2025, the first batch of 6 factories in the Handan Power Cable Industrial Park in Hebei were put into production centrally, marking the official formation of the largest low-voltage power cable industry cluster in northern China. With a total planned area of 500 mu and a total investment of 3 billion yuan, the industrial park focuses on the development of low-voltage products such as power cables for civil buildings and supporting power cables for home appliances. After full production, it will form a production scale with an annual capacity of 5 million kilometers, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 5 billion yuan. Enterprises in the park realize resource sharing, jointly build public supporting facilities such as conductor material processing centers and product testing centers, and adopt unified environmental protection treatment standards, reducing pollutant emissions by 45% compared with scattered production. At present, the park has attracted home appliance enterprises such as Midea and Haier to set up procurement centers to realize "direct supply from the place of origin" and reduce supply chain costs.
