In December 2025, the new energy power cable intelligent factory in Suzhou, Jiangsu, located in the Yangtze River Delta, was officially put into production. Invested and constructed by Far East Cable with a total investment of 800 million yuan and covering an area of 120 mu, it is currently the largest and most intelligent professional production base for new energy power cables in the Yangtze River Delta region. The factory is fully built in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards, deploying 5 fully automated production lines covering the entire process of power cable conductor stranding, insulation extrusion, and finished product testing. Through digital twin technology, visual monitoring of the production process is realized, and the production efficiency is increased by more than 60% compared with traditional factories. The core products of the factory are high-voltage power cables for new energy vehicles and power cables for photovoltaic inverters, with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million kilometers, which can meet the supporting needs of 2 million new energy vehicles and 5GW photovoltaic projects. At present, it has signed long-term supply agreements with BYD, CATL and other enterprises.
