Mass Production of New Nano-Carbon-Based Cable Materials; 30% Conductivity Improvement Aids Energy-Saving Transformation

In November 2025, Shandong Guochuang Nano Materials Co., Ltd. announced the mass production of new nano-carbon-based cable conductor materials. Through composite modification of carbon nanotubes and copper, the material has a conductivity of 125% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), 30% higher than traditional copper conductors, and a density reduced by 15%, which can significantly reduce cable weight and transmission loss. The product has passed the test of the National Wire and Cable Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. When applied to 110kV power transmission cables, the transmission loss per kilometer is reduced by 28%, which is suitable for scenarios such as power grid upgrading and new energy power stations. Currently, the enterprise's annual production capacity reaches 10,000 tons, and it has signed long-term supply agreements with State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, which will promote the energy-saving transformation of the cable industry
