In December 2025, Shenzhen Tyco Power Cable Factory completed the upgrade of the intelligent testing system, becoming the first factory in China to realize the whole-process intelligent testing of power cables. With an investment of 120 million yuan, this upgrade introduced 20 AI visual inspection equipment and 15 sets of online resistance testing systems, covering real-time detection of 12 key indicators such as power cable appearance defects, conductor resistance, and insulation thickness. The detection speed is 10 times higher than that of manual work, and the detection accuracy error is controlled within 0.01mm. At the same time, the factory built a quality traceability platform, and each power cable can query production batch, testing data and other information through a QR code. After the upgrade, the factory's product qualification rate increased from 99.2% to 99.98%, the defective product rate decreased by 85%, and the production cycle shortened by 20%, further consolidating its market position in the field of power cables for high-end electronic equipment.
