In December 2025, Hebei Cangzhou Mingzhu Cable Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the power cable procurement project of the Mengxi-Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei ±800kV UHV DC power transmission project, with a contract value of 320 million yuan, becoming one of the core power cable suppliers for the project. The winning products are ±800kV UHV DC power cables, adopting independently developed high-strength cross-linked polyethylene insulation materials, adapting to the "double 800" UHV hybrid DC power transmission technology, which can withstand extreme temperature differences and strong electromagnetic environments, ensuring stable long-distance transmission of new energy power. The factory specially set up a UHV production line task force to optimize conductor stranding and insulation molding processes, with product conductive loss 8% lower than industry standards. It has completed the production and delivery of the first batch of 200-kilometer power cables, helping the project achieve the goal of transmitting over 36 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity to Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei every year.
