In December 2025, to support CATL's power battery production base, the power cable factory of Fujian Ningde Lianchuang Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. officially broke ground in Ningde, Fujian. With a total investment of 450 million yuan and covering an area of 90 mu, it is expected to be put into production in the third quarter of 2026. The factory will focus on the production of core supporting products such as special power cables for power battery packs and connecting cables for energy storage systems, adopting high-conductivity copper alloy conductors and flame-retardant insulation materials. The products have passed IP67 waterproof and dustproof certification, which can meet the high safety and high reliability requirements of new energy power batteries. After production, the annual capacity will reach 900,000 kilometers, which can increase CATL's local supporting rate to 85%, greatly shorten the supply chain cycle, reduce logistics costs, and help form a closed loop of the new energy industry chain of "power battery - power cable - energy storage equipment". At present, the factory has signed a long-term supply agreement with CATL, with an order value exceeding 1.2 billion yuan.
