A materials company in Jiangsu has achieved mass production of a ceramifiable silicone rubber insulation material. The material maintains rubber elasticity at room temperature and can ceramify to form a hard protective layer in flames above 800°C. It has passed UL 94 V-0 certification and is suitable for manufacturing fire-resistant cables.
