The "Ultra-High Purity Recycled Copper Conductor" developed by a Jiangsu-based copper rod manufacturer has officially obtained UL 62 standard certification, making it the first 100% recycled copper wire in Asia to pass this certification. The product employs a new smelting and impurity removal technology, achieving a conductivity of 101% IACS, fully meeting UL 758 requirements for AWM wire raw materials. Over ten power cord factories have begun using this material to produce UL-certified wires, with expected raw material cost reductions of 25%-30%.
