EU Updates RoHS Exemption List:

The Official Journal of the European Union published Directive 2026/428/EU, extending the exemption for the use of lead-containing PVC in wires and cables until 2031. However, the allowable lead content is reduced from the current 0.35% to 0.2%, and stricter restrictions on phthalates are imposed for medical device cables.
