US Initiates "Double Reverse" Investigation on Chinese Power Cords

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations on SJTW series rubber-sheathed power cords originating from China, involving approximately $320 million in exports to the U.S. in 2025. A preliminary determination is expected in June 2026, with potential duty rates ranging from 25% to 45%.
