To meet the fast-charging demands of new energy vehicles with 800V high-voltage platforms, a Jiangsu cable company has successfully developed the world's first mass-producible 800V ultra-high voltage flexible DC charging cable. Utilizing a new nano-composite insulation material, the cable maintains high flexibility while increasing voltage resistance by 50% compared to traditional products, achieving a charging efficiency of 97.3%. The product has obtained dual certifications under UL 62 and IEC 62893-4-1, with the first batch to be deployed in Tesla Supercharger V4 stations, targeting an annual production capacity of 50,000 kilometers.
