While initially targeting raw materials, downstream products like cables are under review for inclusion. The Q1 2026 CBAM certificate price is set at €75.36/t CO₂. Power cord manufacturers serving the EU market must now prioritize Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) accounting and adopt LSZH/recycled materials to mitigate future compliance costs and meet OEM ESG mandates.
