In November 2025, China Tower Corporation Limited officially launched the tender for the 2025-2026 centralized procurement project of power cable (aluminum cable) products, with an estimated total procurement volume of 39.15 million meters of aluminum core cables and supporting procurement of nearly 360,000 wiring terminals, with a total project scale of about 470 million yuan. This centralized procurement covers 9 types of aluminum core cable products such as flame-retardant type and low-smoke halogen-free cross-linked flame-retardant type, with specifications covering mainstream models such as ZA-VLV and ZA-YJLV22, and wiring terminals adapting to conductor cross-sectional areas from 10mm² to 120mm².

The project sets strict bid price limits, among which the tax-exclusive unit price ceiling for the benchmark model “flame-retardant aluminum cable - ZA-VLV (4×25)” is 11.97 yuan/meter; transportation and insurance rates are set in tiers according to distance, with a maximum of no more than 5.19%. Finally, 4 suppliers will be selected, and market shares of 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% will be allocated according to comprehensive rankings. This large-scale centralized procurement will further promote the large-scale application of aluminum core cables in communication base stations, power supporting facilities and other scenarios.
