On November 3rd, 2025, the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation released the quality inspection results of cross-linked polyolefin insulated wires and cables with rated voltage of 450/750V and below. This inspection covered two major channels: production and e-commerce sales, sampling a total of 4 batches of products involving enterprises from Shanghai and Guangdong. Among them, 3 batches were from e-commerce platforms and 1 batch from the production sector. All products passed the inspection in accordance with relevant standards, with no unqualified items found. The inspection was carried out in accordance with special local supervision and random inspection implementation rules, focusing on testing key indicators such as the electrical performance and mechanical strength of the cables. Insiders said that low-voltage cross-linked cables are widely used in building power supply, home appliance connection and other scenarios. The result of all qualified products in this inspection reflects the ability of relevant enterprises to control product quality and builds a solid line of defense for consumers' electrical safety.
